Beautifully located near the wine producing region of the Moselle and only 15 km away from the airport and the city centre, Kikuoka Country Club boasts a championship 18-hole golf course and a 4 star hotel. The numerous and splendid facilities are the perfect setting for a memorable round of golf or a peaceful weekend break.
Set in 120 hectares of lightly wooded rolling country side, the Iwao Uematsu designed course offers a stern test of your golfing skills. With several water hazards and almost 90 bunkers, all your golfing ability will be tested.

This is an excellent golf course, pretty long and technical, cleverly bunkered and punishing rough. But... as i write this, the greens have been practically unplayable for months. Like trying to play on a football centre circle half way through the season. Patches of mud/ bare pits between areas of grass. Completely ruins the pleasure of the round, despite the rest of the course being in fine shape. I guess greedy management refused to close the summer greens during winter snows / frost, and they died.

Interesting and not as difficult as mentioned. Very nice people and easy to find a t-time. Fairways ok, greens nice. Holes a bit apart from each other, renting a cart was a good choice.

We stayed at the hotel and received a €30 green fee discount. Understandably, the course was parched, but it has great potential in terms of layout. The greens were surprisingly good and varied considering the drought. The restaurant is okay. We'll definitely come back and try the course again under "normal" conditions.
