Situated high above the historic market town, Kendal Golf Club offers one of the most scenic rounds in Cumbria. Thanks to its natural limestone drainage, the course remains in excellent condition year-round, earning its reputation as a true "course for all seasons." While not excessive in length, the undulating terrain and blind tee shots demand tactical precision over raw power. The highlight is undoubtedly the signature 17th hole, "The Battleship," a daunting Par 3 played over a rocky outcrop. The clubhouse offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding fells.

A hilly course with a lot of ups and downs, so a good fitness is needed. 9 of the 18 holes you tee off on hidden greens. The hilly course gives you as reward fantastic views on the landscape of the southern Lake District. Small but well equipped golfshop. Be aware of hikers on the footpaths. Greenfee £ 35; after 2 pm reductions.
