Founded in 1901 near Henley-on-Thames, Huntercombe Golf Club is a historic gem designed by Willie Park Jnr. Uniquely, this was the only course Park owned, allowing him to implement distinct features like over 100 grass hollows (pots) instead of numerous sand bunkers. The layout, blending heathland and woodland with gorse and mature trees, rests on "immemorial turf" of high quality. The club maintains a traditional atmosphere with a focus on quick play. A relaxing clubhouse with views of the 18th green completes the experience.
