Characteristics
The club is situated at the at the edge of the Lueneburg Heath in a softly hilly area of the Harburg Mountains. Eleven holes are embedded in the mixed forest; The last seven holes lead the golfer over free terrain. I would like to join first of all. The tee boards are not traditional but outdated. On the other hand: Get an App! Otherwise: What a great place! Hilly to mountainous and within sight (from the terrace) of Hamburg.
Great condition, fairways top, greens too. Only the bunkers really have too little sand and too many stones.
And the "map" in the clubhouse is really a disappointment. Even if the currywurst is delicious. Nevertheless: The gastronomy really only deserves very few stars.
However, it was so much fun playing that we will definitely be back!
