Don’t waste your money

Waterlogged fairways and greens in June, some (unplayable). Nearly all the bunkers are like concrete, would brake a club trying to get out (unplayable). People driving around in buggy’s drunk, and just choosing to play off any tee they choose in front of you, and can’t even hit a ball (disgusting unplayable).
The mats on the driving range are threadbare (unplayable). The customer service, rude, make you wait for imaginary golf customers service for 45 minutes while they do nothing apart from talk to one another, then call you back over to pay with them anyway (the worst treatment ever). The mosquitoes are the worst thing about this course, they are everywhere, I got bitten over 50 times (the worst game of golf I’ve ever experienced and I travel a lot). We think they hate English people. You can experience all this for à hugely over priced fee of £68 each 😲, yes you read correctly, I will never go near this place again, and this is not exaggerating, I wish I could give no stars.

NICE RESORT

Very nice and silent resort with surprisingly bad maintained course. Especially greens are in condition standard much more for regional 9-hole course than for championship course. From this point of view is price not corresponding with quality.
Good playable, except holes with water obstructions. Especially hole 5 need very prudent course management.

Still room for improvement

Golf course: Beautiful surroundings with old trees and lots of water. Several doglegs and narrow landing zones, especially in the first 9. Plays fine.

Course condition: Due to the late season, a 100% fair assessment is probably not possible. However, the fairways left a good impression and the greens were fine. Only the bunkers were really bad - and not just because of the damp weather.

Conclusion: All in all, a well-designed golf course. The very good signage should also be positively highlighted, as it is not always clear which tee would be the next tee. A lot is certainly still possible when it comes to course maintenance, for example the piles of leaves around the greens and on the edges of the bunkers that are not removed could reduce the fun of the game if the ball can no longer be found.
