Characteristics
Situated in the leafy suburbs just minutes from Newcastle's city centre, Gosforth Golf Club—affectionately known as "The Bridlepath"—offers a secluded parkland experience. The course is famously bisected by a public path, adding unique character to the layout. The Ouseburn stream meanders through the grounds, culminating in the formidable 18th hole. This par-4 signature hole, flanked by water and hedges, is widely considered one of the toughest finishes in the North East. The clubhouse offers panoramic dining room views of this challenging finale.
