Characteristics
The Golfclub Zollmühle is one of the scenically most beautiful and one of the most varied courses in Middle Franconia. It is situated in the middle of idyllic Rezat Valley between Ellingen and Pleinfeld at the edge of the new Franconian lake region. The hilly terrain with an old stock of trees makes for a varied game.It is first and foremost the natural water hazards and the sloping positions that challenge the golfer.

Long stretches with everything

The draw and the first tee are just a few steps from the clubhouse. We, both handicappers of 11, played a well-maintained course with interesting holes on June 6,2026. The elevation changes make hand trolleys easy to use. The fast greens are barely undulating. The signage is exemplary. There's still room for improvement in weed control. We'd gladly come back.

As soon as we arrived at the complex, we were impressed by the great building ensemble, very stylish and pleasant. The employees of the complex, including the catering staff, are also friendly.
The course is very well maintained and nice to play. It is hilly up to hole 12, but from hole 13 onwards it is flat. There are a few water hazards to play over.
In some cases, the paths from the hole you have played to the next tee are quite long. From hole 12 to hole 13, there is a short hike through a forest, but it is a beautiful path.
A road and a railway line line the square. People have to get there somehow.
