In Uderns was built the first golf course in the Zillertal. It contains a 18 hole championship course, a spacious practice areal with roofed tee boxes and a short play area as well as a PGA golf acadamy and 3 brand-new short-play holes (PAR 3).
Right next to the golf course there is the 4****s hotel "Sportresidenz Zillertal". There you also find the gourmet restaurant "Genusswerkstatt" which will satisfy all your culinary wishes.

The place didn't impress us.

We played the course in September 2026. Since it was quite highly praised in reviews, we decided to give it a try. In short, it wasn't worth it. Even the arrival and the confusing route through an underground parking garage to the pro shop was rather unpleasant from a design perspective. The course itself was playable, but it didn't leave a lasting impression on us. The surrounding landscape was also rather monotonous. We won't be playing there again.

If it were just based on the layout, the course would deserve more stars. But unfortunately, we have to confirm that with the construction work. At times, the noise on the course was infernal. You could hardly hear your own voice. I'm also a bit more critical of the greenkeeping. The fairways were mown to a first-cut length, and everything adjacent to them was barely playable for weaker players. Just a tip: the longer you leave the grass standing, the longer it takes the course to dry out. This could all be done much better. With such a hefty green fee, expectations are naturally higher.

A top-maintained golf course in the Zillertal. We were there in 2024.
The fairways are forgiving and well maintained.
The driving range is also optimally aligned.
The short course is well suited for warming up/short games.
The island green on hole 9 is certainly challenging, especially since the terrace spectators have everything in view. This is a huge incentive to perform well here.
Overall a top place.
One star less for the hefty green fee.$$$
