Characteristics
The highest elevated tee-box in Germany 3,300 ft above sea level is situated in this scenic landscape in front of the Alps. The holes each have a different design. Framed by a population of old trees, they were harmonically integrated into the landscape. Panoramic views from the "Allgäuer" to the "Chiemgauer" Alps show about 100km of the mountains in the south of Bavaria.

Great adventure playground, family atmosphere

When you vacation in the Allgäu region, you expect mountains and Bavarian hospitality. Both are offered in abundance in Waldegg-Wiggensbach.
The three 9-hole loops differ slightly, making it easy to determine a favorite combination.
C, Zugspitzblick, is the "most normal" of the 3 loops, not too steep, not too wild, and apart from lines 6,8 and 9, not exceptionally narrow.
A, Panorama, is by far the shortest 9-hole loop; the difficulties arise from the fact that balls struck too optimistically towards the green often disappear forever out of bounds, into the woods or behind red posts.
B, Illertal, my favorite loop. Especially the two par 5s downhill (holes 1 and 4) are fantastic, but the rest is fun too. If anything, you can catch your breath briefly on holes 5-7.
Loch 28 is pragmatic, low prices meet a self-service concept based on trust.

A very spacious course with great fairways. Every hole is different. Sometimes sloped, sometimes uphill and then steeply downhill again. The most beautiful hole is hole 5 on the A course. The highest tee in Germany. Par 3 with 170 meters and 35 meters difference in height. Great view. On the way to the green, 2 deer crossed my path. The condition was very good. Only the catering with self-service was not so great. You should play again.
