Characteristics
Scenically beautifully embedded in the Bergisches Land you will find the most challenging par 70 course in Germany according to the golf journal. Strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, greens with interesting plateaus and breaks, as well as varied track design, ensure an exciting game for experts and beginners. With a total length of 5,608 meters for men and 4,930 meters for women, the course is not particularly long, but due to the hilly structure, a challenge for every golfer. A quite hilly place that requires a bit of stamina.
When you play this course for the first time, there are some holes where you can make blind strokes into the green (not so easy for the normal golfer). It is also a shame that many holes meet around lanes 5 to 10 (be it tee or green). Greens were in good shape. In some places on the fairway you could unfortunately notice the heavy rain of the last few days. But it wasn't a big problem.
