Interesting course, the other 9 holes are quite challenging and mostly on a hill. Fairways are good, but you can see that the summer heat has damaged them. The reception staff is very friendly, the restaurant is very nice, the food is excellent.

We've been playing at Klöch for several years now and will continue to do so. This year, we played without any rain, but in extreme heat. The course always holds surprises; you need to not only be able to play accurately, but also carefully consider how you plan your course. The greens were really good this time; the fairways were naturally a bit bumpy for a natural course, and the rough was quite high and nasty.
Surroundings: a charming, helpful and accommodating office, and a fairly good guesthouse that has now adjusted its opening hours to the needs of golfers. The attached hotel is good. The chalets are wonderful. Prices are moderate. Go!

It is amazing how good the golf course in Klöch is in mid-November. The fairways are neatly mown and the greens are surprisingly fast. Since only a few flights populate the course, the speed of play can be set individually. The hotel and restaurant are already closed at this time, but you are welcome to overlook this. If the conditions are good, the course will remain open until the end of November, rather than going into hibernation.
