No two holes are the same and the course is not easy to play as it has relatively long holes that are not straight. The greens were good for the time of year, although some were full of unrepaired pitchmarc. Thanks for that. The bunkers were in immaculate condition. However, the second 9 are much more challenging.
The large road on which parts of the square are located was a bit disturbing. Overall, it's always worth a detour.

A well-kept golf course is of no use if the lawn tractor and the blower with large machines accompany you on 18 holes, sometimes even with 3 lawn tractors. Bad logistics from the greenkeeper. The toilet blocks during the 18-hole round had not seen a cleaner for a very, very long time and were overall very old.

In June 2023 - despite the previous dry period - in absolutely good condition. The place is very nicely laid out; also exciting to play due to many doglegs, smaller curves and partly blind tees. There are also challenging bunkers on the greens, so e.g. B. the par 3 are by no means easy. All in all, golf is simply fun here and the course is suitable for all handicap classes. In addition, very nice employees in the secretariat and in the attached gastronomy.
If the stars here were only awarded for golf courses in Schleswig-Holstein, I would have given 5 stars. But of course, such a forest course can not compete with Irish top courses, so "only" 4 stars.
