I took the train from Salzburg to Innsbruck then a taxi to the course. I had called ahead to check on the brand of rental clubs because at a previous club was a very nice course but I got lousy Wilson rental clubs. Here they had new Callaways, although I would question no 3 wood, in place of a 5 wood. On this hard a course you need both. I am 75 so took a cart. And with the hills, I am really glad I did. The course greens, fairways and tees were in good shape for a high altitude, short season course. Spectacular design. Some very narrow fairways, sharp doglegs, and sloping fairways. One par 3 and one par 5 have drop offs of over 10 stories to green or fairway. Although it took lots of time and $$$ to play, I loved it. A bucket list experience. Jeffrey C., Boston, US

Leading golf course

When you play a course that belongs to Leading of Golf, you have a certain expectation. Beautiful manicured greens. Neatly mown fairways. That is definitely not the case with this place. Bumpy and sometimes very broken and not easy to play.
The price is completely excessive. Only the view is very beautiful. But I don't have to pay €90 for that. I can also go hiking there. We won't play this course anymore.

So I play the course often and so does this year. When reading through the criticism, it seems to me that the gentleman or lady played a different course, but not the Seefeld Wildmoos golf course. Could the person who wrote this have been prompted to write this by another person?
I would say that this falls under reputational damage. The fact that a high alpine course at 1300 m with this age in an extreme winter of 22/23 and snowfall into May cannot keep up with a newly built course in the valley is basically self-explanatory.
The greens are visually not really nice, but very playable. Everything else I would say is 5 stars and a top ranking for Leading. Finally, the ladies in the office are extremely friendly and helpful and fulfill almost every wish. As the saying goes, the way you call into the forest, maybe it will come back. Wish the lady or gentleman many nice rounds of golf in 2023. I can only recommend this place to every golfer
