The 9-hole course with clubhouse and training areas is situated in the town Gelsenkirchen in the interior of Germany's largest galopp racecourse. A very well-maintained facility in the heart of the Ruhr area. It's clear that a lot has changed in recent years; everything is clean and very well-maintained.
A modern clubhouse with very friendly catering, you feel very well looked after as there is a sense of family togetherness.
Not every golf course has a driving range with a top tracer; the fairways are very forgiving and wide, ideal for golfers even with higher handicaps. The different greens have their own challenges, which makes the whole experience interesting.

As already described, it is a place that was built in a former gallop race track. The height differences are therefore small. But there is quite a tree and a pond.
The tracks are pleasantly wide and fair to play despite the circumstances. In my two previous laps, the course was in good shape and the greens were consistently playable without any major mistakes. So I did not experience the place in as bad a state as it is in some reviews to read. I enjoy playing a round there.
I find the training facilities with driving ranch, putting greens and chipping areas very good and extensive.
The service was also everything OK and in the restaurant I was friendlyly served, although I only a little drunk and therefore to the food nothing to say.
There are certainly higher quality golf courses, but that also makes itself felt in the prices. Therefore, I consider the facility for a nice alternative to play a pleasant round.
