Characteristics
This very demanding course is situated in the middle of the beautiful landscape of the Bergisches Land and offers the player unhoped-for views on the rural surrounding area. The first nine holes are hilly, the seond nine even. On the 18 holes there is an altitude difference of about 100 metres. Several greens have to be played blindly because of their sloping position. After the game the renovated castle set on a lake is at the disposal of the guests and serves as a nice clubhouse.

..with the guaranteed nicest secretariat/reception that I have had the opportunity to get to know in over 30 years of golf and about 180 different golf clubs played.
As already described by the previous speakers, the course offers two different loops, the first 9 are clearly more demanding (lanes 1-3 are really not an easy start to the round) but the vast majority of lanes are visually a pleasure and well maintained, you can really play golf enjoy before it gets really challenging again on track 18 - to put it mildly.
The shortcomings that refuse the 5th star are the rather slow, dull greens and unfortunately the restaurant where you can have a drink, but the food is not recommended: the portions are small, the prices are high and the quality leaves a lot to be desired left over.
