Characteristics
This very demanding course is situated in the middle of the beautiful landscape of the Bergisches Land and offers the player unhoped-for views on the rural surrounding area. The first nine holes are hilly, the seond nine even. On the 18 holes there is an altitude difference of about 100 metres. Several greens have to be played blindly because of their sloping position. After the game the renovated castle set on a lake is at the disposal of the guests and serves as a nice clubhouse.

The course was in good condition, and the fairways didn't seem to have suffered from the heat. The greens had been aerated, so it's impossible to comment on their normal condition. The front nine are definitely a highlight and extremely varied. The back nine are parkland and more or less straight. The first nine played quickly.
