Characteristics
The club is situated only about 25 minutes and around 20 kilometers from Munich city centre. Since its foundation 35 years ago the club has secured a unique position in the Munich area based on our active sports philosophy and constant top quality levels.
The 18 hole championship course and the short game practice area underwent a complete renovation and modernisation in 2012/2013. As part of this process, not only were all 18 greens thoroughly re-designed and brought right up to date in technical terms but also all the bunkers and tees were renewed. In addition, 3 water hazards were enlarged extensively and the whole short game practice area was given a totally new layout.
When playing in Olching you will be sure to find one of Germany’s best golf courses both in terms of playing technique and tactics. Trees, bunkers and, above all, water represent the course’s key design features and demand a strategic approach.

At weekends and on public holidays visitors can play from 1 p.m. without being accompanied by a member. The course is open all day member-accompanied.

We were able to play the course today on a beautiful late summer day.
Competent, friendly secretariat.
Cute pro shop.
The course itself is, simply put, flat.
Means easy walking for all fitness levels and ages.
However, the fairways themselves are hilly.
One or two balls can sometimes bounce.
The condition of the course was absolutely outstanding!!!
Lush green fairways and greens, great bunkers.
The greens are very fast and absolutely stable.

The clubhouse terrace offers a wonderful view of the 18th green and the pond with fountain behind it.

A leading golf course that is fun. 18 varied tracks, some of which have their pitfalls. Unfortunately, I can't reach the greens of the long par 4 (#13 and #14) "in regulation", which makes it all the more important to approach well. The undulating greens are challenging and you should get used to the bunkers with a few successful practice shots before the round. One of my favorite courses, which I like to play as part of the Munich District Trophy, even if the score wasn't as good this time as in previous years. It wasn't because of the very well-kept course, but only because of the partly unsuccessful short game and a question about the rules behind the green of hole #14. On the clubhouse terrace you can sit quite nicely and watch the flights on track #18 as you approach. Very friendly on-site service. In short: highly recommended!
