Characteristics
The Golfclub Güterman Gutach was founded in 1924 and ranks among the oldest golf courses in Germany. The nine holes meet all standards of a modern golfcourse. They are embedded into an English-style park landscape with plenty of water hazards. The course is framed by old villas and the darkgreen Blackforrest mountains. The terrain of the first five holes and the holes 8 and 9 is flat, and even the slightly hilly fairways of the holes 6 and 7 call only for a minimum of sportive fitness. The training possibilites are good. The driving range is situated outside of the main course and offers roofed tees. Our clubhouse, built in 1938, is unique in style and comfort and invites the golfer after his game to rest and to enjoy.

Wonderful place!

Old trees and lots of nature: Certainly not easy to play, but with a little serenity (and a few spare balls in your luggage) a truly beautiful and unique golfing experience.
In combination with the clubhouse and very fine food (also very suitable for vegetarians), we can fully recommend this place.

I have been allowed to play the course several times.
It is really very nicely located and the lower holes really resemble an English park landscape. On the tracks 6 and 7 you can enjoy a very nice view into the Elztal and the Kandel. In the summer months many gliders can be observed.
However, I miss on the course a short course overview at each tee. This is, in my opinion, the basic equipment of every golf club. A unique but worthwhile purchase.

The club is already over 90 years old and it shows... in a good way. The small clubhouse decorated in English country style has a lot of charm. The square itself only 9 holes, but you can like to play twice. Long hitters will play most of the tracks 2 (Long par 5) and as well as 6 and 7 (longer Par4) its advantages. Otherwise one precision on the tracks, which are usually limited by forrest. The Rough beside the tracks is not high but very dense and it is a punishment to lie in it.
