Characteristics
In a unique location in the gentle slopes of the Harmersbach valley, this golf course invites visitors to experience the beautiful diversity of the landscape at the foothills of the Black Forest. Each fairway of the Par-72 course has a diversified and interesting design, so that the whole panorama can be enjoyed in the course of one round. The view goes past the Gröbernhof Tower to the former imperial city of Zell am Harmersbach, a renowned place of pilgrimage and the origin of Zeller earthenware.

Well worth a visit

We included Groebernhof as part of a tour of Black Forest courses and what a good decision it was.
There's something for everyone here with a beautifully presented course which has fast greens, good sized fairways and well managed rough! Recommended for players of all levels as it challenges long and medium range shots to greens which are accomodating and interesting. Should you need inspiration, the views of the Black Forest are stunning in all directions.
The clubhouse facilities were excellent and the English speaking staff were friendly, helpful and rightly proud of their operation. We finished our day with drinks in the restaurant overlooking the final holes and reflected on a very good days golf.

Worth a side trip - even in the rain nice

Well-tended middle-difficult place in hilly landscape, which seems suitable for every playing-strength up to few tracks. Especially the first 9 are very sexy to play. Slopes, Knicks, streams and ponds skillfully be played over, or play around. Cleverly designed tracks, which I usually have not played in this special form so far and thus may well be a unique selling proposition. In contrast, the 10-18 fall off a bit, are rather flat and just created without any special challenges. Here you can then but completely resolved to end the game and prepare for the cozy hole 19.
Conspicuously friendly and correct audience, nice and attentive reception in the club secretariat.
Overall, a beautiful Black Forest place with sympathetic ambience, which, if you are a golfer in the area on the way, should have played.

We played the course on the 8/8/1919, a super friendly reception in the secretariat and because of the rain another cup of coffee in the restaurant. A great well-kept place that is fun. Storks were now and then our companions. For the season and weather conditions in a great condition. The place is unreservedly recommended, will be back.
