Characteristics
A sporting claim to the course and the integration of numerous biotopes on which nature can spread in its diversity and originality are the basic orientation of the Gröbernhof Golf Club.
The varied terrain structure with flat and hilly fairways, with doglegs, water hazards, spacious fairways and undulating greens created a varied course that challenges sporty golfers, but also offers fair conditions for beginners.
After an eventful round of golf, the panoramic terrace of the golf restaurant offers a wonderful view of hole 18.
The location of the Golfclub Gröbernhof in the Ortenau, one of the sunniest areas in Germany, makes it possible to play on the course almost all year round.

Well worth a visit

We included Groebernhof as part of a tour of Black Forest courses and what a good decision it was.
There's something for everyone here with a beautifully presented course which has fast greens, good sized fairways and well managed rough! Recommended for players of all levels as it challenges long and medium range shots to greens which are accomodating and interesting. Should you need inspiration, the views of the Black Forest are stunning in all directions.
The clubhouse facilities were excellent and the English speaking staff were friendly, helpful and rightly proud of their operation. We finished our day with drinks in the restaurant overlooking the final holes and reflected on a very good days golf.

This was my second time playing the course this year. While the fairways were lush and green in the spring, now, after this heatwave and drought, the holes are, like elsewhere, dry in places. But nobody can really be blamed for that. All the elements that the greenkeepers can control were excellent: sharply defined bunker edges, bunkers with plenty of sand, well-maintained tee boxes, and greens in top condition. That's a real pleasure!
I teed off at 9:30 on Saturday morning and was completely alone on the course. Where else can you find something like that? I enjoyed a completely relaxed round of golf, where I could play at my own pace without any distractions.
Also worth mentioning is the friendly, courteous service at the secretariat.
Gröbernhof, I'll be back!

We, both with a handicap of 12, found a great course on August 3,2025, despite a few rainy days. The fairways on the clubhouse side (holes 1-9 and 15-18) are perfectly mowed thanks to the robotic lawnmowers. On the other side of the street, where the driving range is located, greenkeepers are still mowing. The fairways are long, some with water hazards, but there are only a few large trees. We liked the greens and tees, as well as the markings throughout the course. There's little variety in the fairway layouts. We'd be happy to come back.
