Characteristics
Located in the scenic region of Friesland near Oudemirdum, Golfclub Gaasterland offers a unique 9-hole experience designed by architect Alan Rijks. Situated within a 43-hectare protected nature reserve, it was the first course in Europe to be awarded the prestigious GEO certificate (Groenlabel). The layout winds through a mix of woodlands and meadows, where local wildlife and diverse flora take center stage. The atmosphere is peaceful and grounded in nature. A welcoming clubhouse with a sunny terrace overlooking the putting green completes the visit.
