We were there by the end of summer and conditions were very good.
I believe the designers did everything they could, but the course lacks a bit of challenge. The greens are very fast, there are a few interesting holes between apple orchards. The clubhouse is nice with a good offer.
A very nice course for the mid-handicapper

Congratulations to the course designer. I am fed up with courses that seem to regard enjoyment as a secondary consideration in a round of golf. This is a great course for mid-handicappers; in skiing terms - no blacks but an interesting mix of reds and blues. If you hit reasonable shots you have a good chance of making most greens in regulation. The ladies tees are generally well forward, so it is a course that both sexes can enjoy. The course is attractively laid out along the side of a shallow valley so it does not suffer from the vertiginous climbs that can make more spectacular tyrolean courses such a challenge (I was able to carry both rounds). Considering that the course had been covered in snow only 4 weeks before, I thought that it was immaculately presented. I will return!

Bad Walterdorf is a golf course that has always been a favorite. The course is partially built into the hillside, but also has flat fairways. Water and bunkers are used in moderation. A table with delicacies is set up at the ninth hole, and a post-round stop at the excellent restaurant is highly recommended.
