Characteristics
The 27-hole championship course, designed by Thomas Himmel, is embedded like a flat funnel in the slightly hilly landscape which makes a magnificent view over the entire golf course but also on the Bavarian mountains possible. The well thought out design of the course offers a challenge for golfers of all handicaps. With 6480 m from the "white" tee-off mark Rottbach is one of the "longest" courses in the surrounding area of Munich.

A challenge in pleasant rolling countryside

I played the B and C course after booking at short notice on a wonderful summer day. Got paired up with a local member. Lovely golf course. Some really tricky holes demanding a fair bit of course management. The birdie card was a big help as was the GPS watch from my playing partner. Definitely worth going back. Food fine. Terrace splendid. Friendly staff.

Hello, I don't usually write reviews at all, as it's all rather subjective. In this case, however, I would like to let my displeasure run free. Dogs are not allowed! You can do that, but I don't understand why members can bring their dogs with them, but guests can't. Firstly, guests, like members, are sensitive to dog contamination and you can rest assured that whether a member or a guest, we have the same standards and clean up the mess. I find it a pity!! By the way, you can't find this information on the website!

All in all, the system in Rottbach is a well-rounded affair!
Well-tended 3x9 holes, which do not provide too easy a change, plus good practice opportunities and a well-tended gastronomy.
Two smaller downers are the often badly "plucked" 3-hole course and the unattractive member models.
In addition to full membership, which is very sporty for the west of Munich, there are small discounts for the less attractive weekday membership; 9-hole membership for beginners only.
Unfortunately, it only gets a little cheaper if you commit to 5 years - a shame!
