Characteristics
The 27-hole championship course, designed by Thomas Himmel, is embedded like a flat funnel in the slightly hilly landscape which makes a magnificent view over the entire golf course but also on the Bavarian mountains possible. The well thought out design of the course offers a challenge for golfers of all handicaps. With 6480 m from the "white" tee-off mark Rottbach is one of the "longest" courses in the surrounding area of Munich.

A challenge in pleasant rolling countryside

I played the B and C course after booking at short notice on a wonderful summer day. Got paired up with a local member. Lovely golf course. Some really tricky holes demanding a fair bit of course management. The birdie card was a big help as was the GPS watch from my playing partner. Definitely worth going back. Food fine. Terrace splendid. Friendly staff.

I played the C and B loop in Rottbach today and was impressed. Very well maintained course, good greens not too fast but very easy to putt. The C loop has a few water hazards. The fairways are nice and wide so that even misplaced drives don't have too much of an impact. A very friendly welcome and the members also greet you. The catering is closed on Mondays but at the Weiherstüberl there are drinks and snacks and you can quickly get chatting to members. All in all it's worth it for everyone to play here.

You can do that, but I don't understand why members can bring their dogs with them, but guests can't. Firstly, guests, like members, are sensitive to dog contamination and you can rest assured that whether a member or a guest, we have the same standards and clean up the mess. I find it a pity!!
