Characteristics
The diversified course was set up partly in a mountain forest and partly on open terrain and provides a splendid view of the sloped landscape of the Teutoburg Forest. The 18-hole course, which was integrated into an undulating park landscape and features a population of old trees, features some strategically-placed holes with strongly undulated greens, well-protected bunkers, and fairways on which the ponds simply wait for the drives.

Played from mid-August to mid-September.
I was near the Reah and immediately booked a 10-ticket card for the course as it was a great offer. The ladies at reception are very friendly and explain to new guests quickly and easily what is going on on the course. After the first 6 holes, as a trolley puller, you know what you have done and when you look at hole 7 you wonder if you can keep it up as it is very hilly. Holes 1 and 6 run along the driving range, and there are a lot of range balls here and there. By the way, the range is not the only thing in play. ;) Once you have managed the first 9, the back 9 are a little less hilly but still steadily sloping and up and down.
The course was in great condition. The fairways were well mowed and the greens were fast. There were, however, two points of criticism. The grass cutting on the fairways was a bit annoying and from September 16th they had already switched to winter greens.

We played the course on May 13,2023 with three golfers. The reception was very friendly. We booked a buggy on recommendation. The first lanes go up and down. At number 6 there are dozens of balls from the driving range on the track. A high net should be stretched here for shielding. The place was in good condition. The greens were ok for mid-May, but could have been better. Overall a worthwhile visit.
The gastronomy is appropriate. The staff was very friendly.

...on the first 9 holes, and they are absolute bombs! The 1-6 run hilly and perfectly through old beech and mixed forest.
The Bagnine are more open but still great! The condition is absolutely impeccable and the entire area has real charm. All solitary trees are completely mown, always a sign of perfect care. Anyone who is not good on their feet should definitely invest in a car. The old Bernhard von Limburger Platz is worth every trip!
