Played in September 2020.
Only moderate operation during the week. Stylish ambience, nice reception, well-kept range and training opportunities.
The course is wide and fair, but still tricky with a few doglegs and the mostly forward-hanging greens. The deep grass around the bunker is a great style element. We were never there, but still played out of it. The greens are still in great shape at the end of the summer and can be played evenly from the practice green to hole 18.
The look of the lanes with the tall trees, under which you can still find the ball and continue playing, is ingenious. Also the tranquility, only a stone's throw away from Cologne.
The beer after the round is served friendly on the beautiful terrace. All in all, a clear recommendation, the green fee of € 110 is absolutely appropriate.

I have played the course a few weeks ago in good weather with plenty of sunshine. The entire area made a very good impression. The beautiful tall trees create a unique ambience. This can already call extraordinary. The fairways are very well separated. It is nowhere disturbed by other golfers. Although the fairways are relatively wide, precise golf is required.
The Clubhouse newly built makes a great impression. Very negative I rate the service in the restaurant. We were treated by the boss of the restaurant as unwelcome intruders. At first we were not noted and then served very unfriendly. That's why I prefer from a point in the evaluation.

The place is really nice - with many old trees just once. I played it during my stay in Cologne with my partner a few times over high heat. As one enjoys and appreciates the shade of the trees.
We play a lot in South Africa or Austria, but a comparable place where one rarely sees a different game path - we have hardly found. The only thing I miss in this place, are different altitudes.

Well maintained and very challenging parkland course in a quiet location. Most demanding are the relatively narrow paths. Not really suitable for high HC, so the HC-restriction is reasonable. The green fee is relatively high and play on weekends only possible with membership. The green fee is not charged in the clubhouse but the Caddy master in a separate area. Overall, the members seem to be rather older ones. My tip: The club should present themselves younger and more open.
