The club was founded in 1904 and was originally situated at the shore of the river Teplá in the Geysir Park. Now the Karlsbader Club is at home on the Golf Course Karlovy Vary – Olsvá Vrata.

This is great course with awesome layout. Very tough, need accurate teeshots. Greens are large with average speed well guarded with bunkers. Very cosy clubhouse with pleasant staff. Green fee is rather higher compare to other courses, reason is location close to German borders.
Diverse and Technically Challenging

The course is interesting in the diversity of the difficulties that a player faces. Long Par 4s, hilly landscape and well protected greens. The charm of the course comes from the high and dense trees that shape the fairways. Long hitters ought to drive accurately, otherwise the score card will bare the damages.

Even booking the course was professional. They speak perfect German. A very well-maintained course, which we played during the week, and it wasn't very busy. Overall, the course is wide and forgiving even for the occasional less precise shot, and you can usually find balls that have strayed slightly to the side. It offers uphill and downhill sections, and only twice did we go over a hill where you didn't have a good view of the fairway. Highly recommended.
