Steeped in tradition, Golf Resort Karlovy Vary is one of the oldest golf clubs in Central Europe, with roots dating back to 1904. The current 18-hole championship course, completed in 1933, winds through the lush landscape of the Ore Mountains just minutes from the spa city center. Mature trees and natural undulations define this classic parkland layout. The experience is elevated by an award-winning clubhouse where the famous Grandhotel Pupp provides catering, allowing golfers to enjoy first-class dining on a terrace overlooking the final green.

This is great course with awesome layout. Very tough, need accurate teeshots. Greens are large with average speed well guarded with bunkers. Very cosy clubhouse with pleasant staff. Green fee is rather higher compare to other courses, reason is location close to German borders.

The course is interesting in the diversity of the difficulties that a player faces. Long Par 4s, hilly landscape and well protected greens. The charm of the course comes from the high and dense trees that shape the fairways. Long hitters ought to drive accurately, otherwise the score card will bare the damages.

The course is exceptionally impressive in terms of its fairways integrated into the natural woodland landscape.
Only the 18 greens require thorough maintenance. Missing grass and small pitch marks filled with sand prevented predictable putts.
It's worth noting that a marshal would help ensure better adherence to etiquette. Our preceding group searched for their balls in the woods after every tee shot, teeed off again, and played countless shots from left to right along the fairways...
But we took our time and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
