Characteristics
The golf course is situated in the idyllic landscape of Prekmurje, richly blessed with natural beauty and cultural memorials, in the thermal spring town Moravske Toplice. The course spreads like a green natue park around the facility of thermal bathand offers both practised players and beginners a lot of fun at the game.
Especially challenging is hole number 9, a par 5, nearly 600 metres long - the longest one in Slovenia!

First of all: extreme heat damages every course, so the fairways should be assessed with leniency... the greens were good, and you can see that the management is trying to add little visual goodies to the course, flowers at the tees, etc. The course is long, but not riddled with malice and remains fair. The paths between the holes are sometimes very long, so you walk a lot overall, but without any elevation changes. The extremely friendly office and the very generous reductions in damage to the course are worth mentioning. It's worth playing there, you don't go home frustrated.

The first three rounds were quite frustrating, the greenkeepers were nowhere to be seen. In the fourth round, the greens and fairways were mown for the first time, and very high and dense rough affected the speed of play, as it was necessary to spend a long time searching for the ball.
Greens very slow, bumpy and not true to the course, bunkers OK, fairways playable after the mowing, although a relatively large number of molehills spoiled the look. At the beginning there were also many areas where the ground was being repaired, yes, the course has been in better shape.
Course difficult, especially in windy conditions, some par 4s extremely long, as well as the 9th, a par 5 with 577 m from yellow, 596 m from white!
