Nestled in the Isère valley at the foot of the Vercors mountains, Domaine de Charmeil is a peaceful retreat offering year-round golf. The 18-hole course (Par 73) winds through a landscape of ancient oak trees and strategic water hazards. While the terrain is gently undulating rather than steep, the technical layout with interesting doglegs requires thoughtful strategy. The resort experience is completed by on-site practice facilities, a 3-star hotel, an outdoor pool, and the welcoming „Le Wedge“ restaurant.

The staff at the front desk as well as in the restaurant were always friendly. We played the course in the summer of this year. Both tees and fairways were in good to very good condition. The place is quiet and has a few nice water hazards.
Of the white tees the course is quite a challenge.
Unfortunately, it was over 30 degrees on this day, and you can not get past hole 9 at the clubhouse to refuel the water supply.
