We regularly host "open tournaments" that are also accessible for non members. We are looking forward to welcoming you in Velderhof!
We also invite all golf beginners to participate in our "beginner tournaments" - the only prerequisite is a "Platzreife" certificate from a golf school (showing that you know how to hit a ball and basic rules). This will give you the opportunity to get to know tournament golf in a very relaxed setting together with other golf beginners.

Restaurant Velderhof is out in the country side, located in one of those brick-built farmhouse squares that are so typical for the Rhineland area. The restaurant, which is about 20 minutes away from Cologne and Dusseldorf, is open to the public and offers an excellent setting for good quality, wholesome food - often sourced directly from regional producers in the vicinity and always prepared on the spot.
The inside features a charming setting in the old horse stables or a magnificent view into nature in the larger pavilion overlooking the park and golf course. When the weather is nice, expect two large terraces inside the courtyard and outside the pavilion respectively.
Whether for just coffee and cake on a Sunday afternoon, a nice evening menu with your loved ones or as a location for a family or company event, the lovely staff will always try their best to provide a most excellent experience.

A very beautiful, well-kept area away from any hustle and bustle. The clubhouse is stylish, the restaurant appealing. The pro shop is great and the driving range is small but sufficient.
The places are very well maintained. No matter what combination you play, every hole is in excellent condition. Unfortunately, all holes are at ground level and only moderately exciting. Therefore only 4 stars. If you were to come up with something to increase the fun of playing with embankments or similar, it would be 5 stars.

Today we had a very nice round of golf (red / yellow) as guests of friends who are members of the GC Velderhof.
A really nice golf course with courses and greens in top condition!
Unfortunately we (4-flight) were forced and rushed by the following 3-flight! This culminated in the fact that the follow-up flight complained to us about the Marshall! This spoke to us at tee 10, but found that we were exactly on time. 4 hours 15 minutes for the 18 holes at the end were probably ok!?
From lane 10 the mood and concentration was gone!
I hope for GC Velderhof that this behavior of members is the exception.
