8mins tee time frequency for all levels of golfers may work with an active support of Marshall (s), but the Marshalls sell snacks and beverages instead.
We played as 4-ball flight, completed hole 3 after 1 hour, hole 6 after 130mins …. and the mess was going. We shared our frustration twice with Marshalls, but neither got a commitment to care nor realized any effect.
At hole 12 we met a new flight in front of us, which lost orientation. They just squeezed in front of us, had no understanding this neither correct nor fair. Instead, they insisted penalizing us with their mistake.
We called the Marshall and ask for his attention. His response was a bit surprising - he committed taking care of the flights behind us since he realized a gap to hour followers. Strange, our followers were lighsaving players that started two hours later as we. Latest at hole 10 they caught us, small talking with us frequently as they had to wait as well…
We like the place - nice and well maintained - and knew patience required. Therefore, we may try again some time, hoping not to repeat the bad experience. But never again if our hopes are build on a slippery ground.

Clubhouse, reception and bar ate pretty good, Driving range is much too far away and its not nice to hit into a mountain from mats.
Course lay out is average and not too challenging, greens are hard and fast.

Everything is about money in Tenerife. Golf courses are also not an exception. At the reception they do not ask for HCP certification, start every 8 minutes. Marshall is driving water across the field instead of taking care of a fast and smooth game.

We played both Adeje courses.
The 9-hole Los Lagos is also well maintained and has interesting, sometimes narrow fairways. Absolutely recommended for a quick round.

The Adeje Championship Course is really strong! The care was great, the greens were great, they could have been a little faster. The design is lovely and the layout is game-friendly. If you have a good buzz off the tee, then you can score really well on the PGA TP World Tour Course! The location by the sea is magnificent and the large rows of palm trees between the lanes give you that pure Canary Island feeling!
I would also like to mention that for me the front 9 holes are some of the best starts I have played so far! Top design and the backdrop from hole 2 almost overwhelms you! Next to Abama, No. 1 on the sunny island! We were thrilled!

Already at the start on hole 1 there was a fuss. It's just stupid that certain tourists also understand Spanish. I played the course in September 2023 with my wife and two friends. Because of the praise we had received in advance, we were looking forward to the round, but unfortunately we were quite disappointed. Unfortunately, we were unable to understand some of the excellent reviews.
Obviously, the primary aim was to get as many tourists through as possible. There was a really unpleasant crowd in the flights that significantly limited the fun. To our surprise, the holes were anything but spectacular. The course is designed to be very boring compared to other courses on Tenerife (e.g. Las Americas or especially Abama). You can play the course, but you don't have to.
The employees in the pro shop tried hard, but were unfortunately overwhelmed by the influx of tourists. The restaurant was ok, but nothing special.

We played a round here in 2006 - the first on Tenerife - and we had few impressions. The yield of memory is very weak. No teammate gave the maximum grade at the time. It may be because a must-have criterion to be met when planning the course - it has to do justice to vacationers who do not play golf that often.

The comparison with Golf del Sur, also planned by José (called Peppe) Gancedo, is worlds apart.
