Characteristics
The course is situated in the park of a magnificent villa from the 18th century. Here we are in the Veneto of the stately villas, which were built by the Venetian nobility in the backland of the lagoon town from the 16th to the 19th century. In the club the quiet and balanced atmosphere of this era remains. Technically speaking, the course deserves special mention.

Villa Rustica

Player: 17/20 handicap. Time: Mid-April 2026 (only played the back nine due to a tournament). The ambiance is more rustic than elegant, but quite pleasant. The driving range is complete, but rather small (8+3 covered tees, short game area, putting green). The tees and fairways are acceptable, and the greens are fine. Friendly staff.

A beautiful park course with ancient, magnificent trees, it plays very smoothly. The fairways, greens, and punctuality are truly well-maintained. The course deserves a five-star rating, but there are a few minor drawbacks, such as the unkempt tee boxes and no water in the ball washers. Uninitiated players have trouble finding their way around. A few more signage would be very helpful. And last but not least, the rather dingy clubhouse no longer exudes any charm and is beyond worn.

Basically, it is a fairly simple, short and flat course. Even players with higher handicaps can play it wonderfully. We played on a rainy day. The pace of the game was excellent and the secretariat was very competent.
The front 9 holes are played in the former park of the old Villa Condulmer. The new holes at the back are much more spacious and were probably built several decades later.
The greenkeepers are clearly making an effort. We found the course in a perfectly acceptable condition for the time of year in October.
The historic villa is really very pretty. Unfortunately, the current owners seem to have given up on the demands of repair and renovation several years ago.
