Characteristics
The Championship Golf Course is laid out in a magnificent natural surrounding: more than 7000 trees including centuries-old oak and beech trees, a well-kept lawn and the storks wandering on the field. The 18 holes, harmoniously integrated in the over 85 hectares of grounds, are very playlable, funny and technically challenging. Designed by John Herris, Marco Croze and Fulvio Bani, the golf course is a Par 72.
The Villaverde Golf & Wellness Academy has a modern approach that combines technology with a variety of instructional programs wich enhance our clients' overall quality and well-being. The Swing Studio is equipped with FlightScope, BodiTrak, SAM Puttlab and V1 for the perfect training.
The Villaverde Hotel & Resort Wellness Spa & Golf is about 300m away and reached via a bridge linking the Resort to golf course.
The region Friuli Venezia Giulia offers different landscapes: from the Adriatic see with sandy beaches or rocky coasts, to the hills and the mountains. A place of multiple flavors, thanks to its famous wines and its food.

Beautiful parkland course

Nice parkland course to play with great views of the mountains. The difficulties of the course are limited and only begin on the greens, as they are very fast. The square's biggest drawback is its limited ability to absorb rainwater. Almost all of the bunkers were flooded and therefore unplayable. Most of the fairways were also very wet. The restaurant with its really great service is worth mentioning.

Very nice park course. A bit hilly, but I still count it among the flat courses. Very short distances to the tees, except from 17 to 18. Recommendation: NO Cart. It does not block the other players insignificantly. For me the most beautiful course we played in Italy this year

We were able to enjoy this wonderful golf club and golf course for 2 days (Good Friday and Easter Saturday). The connection between the hotel complex and the training area and clubhouse is impressive right from the entrance (but only visible from the west) thanks to a great bridge. In the secretariat we were always greeted and served by friendly and helpful ladies on both days.
The service in the restaurant was in no way inferior. Kudos also to the chef for his cooking skills.
The 18 holes of the golf course are not too big a challenge for golfers and can also be mastered very well without a cart for players with normal fitness. Some tracks play but also from it long. The first 9 holes are mostly wide and straight fairways. The second 9 are narrow and hilly. Particular praise goes to the condition of the facility. Greens and tee boxes really great. The greens played very true to the line with medium roll. Even away from the fairway, all lanes were very well maintained. As is often the case these days, there is no deep rough here either. Nevertheless, the course lies within a warm landscape with many trees, which sometimes also influence the direct route to the green.
Only one marshal never saw, but unfortunately missed on the second day. If 8 flights accumulate on 4 lanes and everyone has to wait, a note to the front group would have been really desirable.
Nevertheless, we felt very, very comfortable here and will definitely be back.
