Characteristics
The club is situated a few kilometres away from Pordenone, the biggest city in lower Friaul. It is located in the plains, but the mountains aren't far away and form a natural horizon. A bit farther off in the other direction you can feel the sea, from where every now and again the Bora blows, a stormy wind, which cleans the air and makes it crystal clear. The fairways are located on undulating terrain with numerous high trees.

Golf course: The first nine holes are flat, wide, and rather unremarkable. The back nine become significantly narrower and are bordered by woods. Playing some holes repeatedly would certainly be advantageous to know exactly where to place your balls.

In August, on a Tuesday, we were offered a special deal and the staff were extremely friendly.
Despite the heat, the entire complex was green and well maintained.
The planes above our heads from the US airbase were also very impressive.
After 18 holes on the golf cart, we enjoyed an Aperol Spritz with Caesar salad, at a fair price, in the clubhouse.
For us beginners, this visit was an absolute highlight.

Unfortunately the order of the holes must have been reversed. Which makes organizational sense since the first 9 holes seem to be the more popular holes. They are wonderful holes for high handicappers and not much can go wrong because they are infinitely wide. However, length is required on some holes. The second 9 are much more demanding as it is really tight and sometimes blind. But the fun only begins after the cardiologist's journey to the 13th.
Unfortunately, the condition of the place was only moderate. The tees had suffered significantly and the fairways were partly grassless. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on a Monday. Nevertheless, a great price-performance ratio.
