Characteristics
This well-maintained golf course, which was meanwhile extended to 18 holes, stretches out on an undulating terrain framed by woodlands and vineyards in a side valley of the beautiful Moselle Valley.
Fast and partly highly undulating greens can have a major influence on the score. The new training area is well-equipped and provides excellent opportunities to practice the game for golfers of all levels.

Great place, great condition, great greens, top service and just nice staff. A place that is a joy to play - not extremely difficult, but you have to think about how to play it. Some tracks look longer than they play. You can often leave the driver sitting.
What we noticed, however, is the fact that many members don't seem to appreciate this great facility and the top performance of the greenkeeping. Rarely have we seen so many pitch marks on the greens that haven't been repaired recently and so many divots on the fairways that were freshly cut. It's a shame for the facility

I have played around 250 golf courses in Germany and neighboring countries. The Golf Club Trier is in my top 10. Very well and lavishly maintained, varied and sporty courses that represent a challenge even for more experienced players. White quartz sand and natural bunker edges provide character, while vineyards in the area add a picturesque feel. A friendly welcome including instructions from the secretary round off the experience. Clear recommendation!
