Great place, great condition, great greens, top service and just nice staff. A place that is a joy to play - not extremely difficult, but you have to think about how to play it. Some tracks look longer than they play. You can often leave the driver sitting.
What we noticed, however, is the fact that many members don't seem to appreciate this great facility and the top performance of the greenkeeping. Rarely have we seen so many pitch marks on the greens that haven't been repaired recently and so many divots on the fairways that were freshly cut. It's a shame for the facility

I have played around 250 golf courses in Germany and neighboring countries. The Golf Club Trier is in my top 10. Very well and lavishly maintained, varied and sporty courses that represent a challenge even for more experienced players.
