Characteristics
The fairways of the golf club neighbour directly on the lovely landscape of the juniper grove of Tietlingen. Since 1979, golf is here played along the lines of "Golfing at the Lönspark". The course is characterised by soft hills, widespread stocks of birch trees and oaks, as well as by numerous pools that were arranged as biotopes. Very friendly welcome and not much going on at the campsite during the week in the mornings.
The course design is appealing. Balls in the woods next to the fairways are easy to find. They often end up there in August, as after the dry summer of 2026, the fairways themselves seem to decide where a ball placed in the middle of the fairway will ultimately land. The tees and greens are good. The restaurant, with its homemade cuisine, is highly recommended.
The motorhome pitches with electricity are located on the access road to the car park and directly next to the greenkeeper's building. If you enjoy being woken up at 6:15 a.m., this is the place for you. Everyone else would be better off choosing a paid pitch nearby.

The Tietlingen Golf Club in Walsrode is beautifully situated and offers a pleasant, peaceful atmosphere for playing. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly and uncomplicated contact with the office staff – I received excellent service on the phone.
Booking was even possible at very short notice, which I found to be a huge plus, as my appointment had to be cancelled. I found the course via Golf Plus – thank you for that as well!
The only slight drawback: The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
Overall, a clear recommendation – I'd love to come back!

Played on April 25,2025, in mild temperatures. The reception was super friendly. Everything was already prepared – scorecard, bag tag, etc. Limited driving range (200 m), chipping and putting greens; everything was available.
In my opinion, Blitzi has accurately described the course. Although it is "only" 54 hectares, some of the fairways are quite long (par 5s of 500 meters, par 4s of 400 meters from the yellow line). The "shorter" fairways are either uphill and/or doglegs, some of which feature strategically placed water hazards.
We really enjoyed the tour and can recommend a visit.
