Characteristics
Since 1969 the "second spa park" of the little town has been situated in the middle of Bad Harzburg, in the shape of the charming 9-hole golf course. A very nice old stock of trees and park-like groups of trees and many interesting and idyllical water hazards offer a sportive and interesting challenge in a nice environment.

Varied place in Bad Harzburg

We played here in mid-July 2024 in pleasant summer temperatures.
The course has already been aptly described by Catgolf in our opinion. We found the "original" courses with old trees and panoramic views to be perfectly integrated into the landscape as a classic parkland course. The "newer" courses in the race track area were fun. Something different and quite creative considering the limited expansion options. The course was in good condition in all areas; greens were relatively fast (felt like Stimp 9) and of normal size.
Only the gastronomy stood out negatively with overpriced prices.
Overall definitely worth a visit.
Particularly worth mentioning was the very friendly reception in the secretariat and quick contact with the down-to-earth members. We also recommend using one of the particularly comfortable carts.

Varied course with old trees and great views of the mountains and the Harz foothills. Special features are the tracks that cross a horse racing track and a neighboring game reserve.
Very neat condition! Small greens, rather slow, but with breaks. Easy to play on foot, a cart would be more convenient. The lanes run behind rather than next to each other, so it's a very relaxed game. Small golf shop, very friendly and helpful staff. Club restaurant with a great terrace.

Beautiful place in summer

The course leads along a zoo to the grounds of the racecourse. This is how you sometimes hit your ball over riding obstacles. Wide fairways, undulating terrain and challenging courses.
We were there in early April after heavy rains. The place was muddy and the greens weren't in the best condition.
