A very successful day of golf

We had a thoroughly enjoyable day at the golf club. The course was in excellent condition—very well-maintained, with varied fairways that impressed both the game and the scenery. The staff at the reception desk were extremely friendly and competent, making for an immediately positive welcome.
A special highlight was the subsequent meal in the Italian club restaurant: The food was fresh, tasty, and lovingly prepared. The service also left nothing to be desired – we were served attentively and warmly. Overall, the value for money was absolutely convincing.
We would definitely love to come back!

Experienced players appreciate the well-maintained course, as do beginners. The 6-hole practice course (a quick evening round for us) is just as well maintained as the varied 18-hole course. But beware, the Escheburg rough is legendary. Local players, as well as the ladies at reception, are extremely friendly and helpful. However, some day visitors might generally like to take a quick look at the rulebook and familiarize themselves with the club rules before teeing off... An extremely friendly lady at the reception gave me all sorts of discounts (evening rate, introductory rate) without asking. €20 for 18 holes was unique in a long time.
Contrary to previous reviews, playing through as an individual was not a problem (2.45 for 18 holes). The course: like almost all summer field-supervised facilities, very good condition and acceptable greens at the end of October.
The fairways are absolutely flat, without any major ups and downs.
If you're in the area, at a one-off introductory rate, definitely worth it. At this rate 4* otherwise 3*
