Characteristics
The course is situated in a 100 ha large area at the northern slope of the Ebrach Valley. It offers a good view on the great Alpine scenery. The topography of the hilly terrain is still natural with upward and downward slopes that are accompanied by forests. The almost 40 bunkers in the middle of the fairways and greens are a challenge. From time to time a brook or pool interrupts or accompanies the fairways and on the holes 6 + 13 these waters spread out quite effectively.

Beautiful, challenging course

Well-maintained place, nice people in the office and on the go.
The place is hilly, so I was the only one without an electric trolley! It works too, but of course it takes more effort :-)

So I don't remember so many so well executed courses. Nice and easy up and down, a little but not too much sloping position, nice big well-set bunkers, partly cloudy ponds of all shapes but if not kitschy size, no channels necessary, many signature holes! Care was ok. Greens unusually fast.
A real championship feeling of space. Only the one golfer who chased me alone and the older couple with cart in front of me was annoying. That spoiled the 1.9 hole. We only needed 1 hour 25 minutes and then complained that m / f / d had to wait. The couple admittedly didn't let me play through if I didn't want to and also jumped over a hole.
The 2.9 then ran completely relaxed because they all stopped and we had worked out at least 40 minutes on the normal 2 h / 9 hole lead. But the place can’t do anything for that... 5 + Definitely play.
