A very attractive course with many interesting holes and attractive tees. Holes 1 to 9 are rather flat and easier, 10 to 18 are more demanding and also hilly.
The greens were in top condition, the tees and the fairways were a bit high. We couldn't find some balls.
The restaurant is also worth a visit and also offers a varied menu in the evening.
We received a very friendly welcome and spent the night in the motorhome on one of the three pitches including electricity.

The place is quite hilly in between. An e-cart helps for a relaxed round, so that you can also enjoy the many beautiful views of the surrounding area.
The Front 9 start off flat and then meander up the mountain with pleasantly wide fairways, lined with groups of trees and bushes. Again and again you can let the great view work its magic from the greens before teeing off at one of the 4 available tee boxes per hole towards the valley.
The Back 9 are also pleasantly flat at first, before going down and up the hill at holes 15,16,17.
A super nice and varied layout, with excellent space condition - and in late autumn (last week of October).
With its large terrace, the clubhouse invites you to round off your round. The very large putting green is directly in front of it. The ideal place to review the beautiful golf course layout.
We will definitely be playing here again next year!

On the Campertour 2022, after consultation due to the changing weather conditions, the GC Donnersberg was due. Sunday evening arrival at the parking lot, where there is enough space for several WoMos and even electricity for 2 WoMos. The parking lot is next to the driving range, so close to practice. On Sunday evening it was already raining, as was the case on Monday morning, so that we put in a day of excursions and some practice.
The day of the game on Tuesday was not very edifying, due to a tournament only a start time of 8 a.m. was possible, but the water came horizontally from the front on the first lane, so we stopped at lane 2 and went back to the clubhouse to lead. There we were very kindly offered a second start time at 12.20 p.m. in the club secretariat, which we then took advantage of. The weather had improved significantly by then, so we played a sunny but extremely windy round.
The course already shows on the first 4 holes that golf can be quite strenuous, it goes well uphill, only hole 4 rewards again with a tee down.
The place is very, very nice, has many varied tracks and challenges, the condition was first class except for the slightly worse greens. The par 3 (lane 14?) over water is a real eye-catcher!
After the round we used the showers (unusual - you had to bring your own towels, but we had them with us in the camper anyway), everything was nice, very clean and well maintained.
The food from the fairly manageable menu only partially convinced us, but it was much better elsewhere.
But the people on site were all very friendly, open-hearted and the club secretary had the heart of a human!
