Located just minutes from Reykjavík in Garðabæ, GKG Golf Club presents a premier golfing destination with 27 holes. The centerpiece is the Leirdalur course, an 18-hole championship layout (Par 71) that winds through the scenic valley and wetland areas, challenging golfers with diverse terrain. For a quicker round, the 9-hole Mýrin course provides a tactical test featuring several lakes and bunkers. During the summer months, the club is a prime location to experience Iceland's famous midnight golf. A modern clubhouse with a restaurant and high-tech indoor simulators completes the facility.

This place is situated in a flat, rising edge of the river, limited by various highways and some not too ugly concrete blocks. Numerous today still small trees will surely give the place in 20 years a different ambience, now it fits well to the new construction area round.. Fairways OK but not super, greens through wild grass very hoppelig and unfaithful to putti. Very tasteful clubhouse with favorable localities for food and drink.
It does not hurt to play here, a lot of bear, e should not be lost but for THAT place you do not have to make the long journey. We are as a group here, the pedestrians were ultimately slouched and would have retroactively rented but a Cart rented...
