Founded in 1970, Gilleleje Golfklub is one of Denmark's most established golf clubs. Located in the scenic northern part of Zealand, the 18-hole course truly lives up to its motto, "Where nature is in play." The spacious layout features a variety of holes integrated with natural streams, lakes, and mature trees that challenge golfers of all levels. The course is renowned for its fast greens and well-maintained fairways. In addition to the main course, there is a challenging 5-hole Par-3 course. The clubhouse restaurant, featuring a terrace overlooking the 18th green, offers a perfect setting for relaxation.

The club offers training for adults, youth, and junior players with a PGA Pro and volunteer coaches. Free youth training is on Wednesdays 17-18, junior training 16-17:30. Equipment is provided. Training must be booked via Golfbox.

The course is located behind a large stud farm at the end of a narrow street. A small reception area with a golf shop and a very friendly welcome awaits.
Everything comes into play. Bunkers, water, trees, wind, slopes. I can confirm, the first nine holes are easier than the second. There are three par threes, fours, and fives.
All fairways and greens were very well maintained. A wonderful experience.

The place was in very good condition. The greens were so fast that I had real problems with it.
The course of the tracks is well chosen. You pass the toilet several times and do not just play back and forth. So my conclusion: A solid place in good condition and good value for money.
