1. very nice staff in the secretariat and in the catering trade (we can't speak a word of Danish) 2. great nature, flora and fauna around the tracks 3. varied, very well-kept place as well as the facilities 4. greens very well-kept, sometimes difficult undulated 5. Rough is so high that it's hardly worth trying to find a ball. However, the fairways are so wide that you rarely run the risk of getting into them.

So my conclusion: A solid place in good condition and good value for money.

The 18 hole course of Gilleleje is a beautiful place, nestled in a hilly landscape. Individual tracks are interesting, but most of them lack "whistle". Therefore, the marketing claim of the "one of the 10 most beautiful golf courses in Denmark" is overstated.
The course was unfortunately not in very good condition: Fie greens all seemed to suffer from fungal attack, but also prehospits and partly the fairways looked taken along. The service was friendly and the green fee (250 DKK as early bird until 7.30 clock) range balls are free.
