The clubhouse is very spacious and totally fine. The kitchen can do something too. The menu is small and offers something for every palate. Although the golf course is not old, the vegetation has grown in very well. The fairways have different lengths and some obstacles make the game exciting. Each panel on the tea boxes is branded with a wine producer's label. The water landscape is awesome and very well maintained. Still, I don't want to swim in the ponds.
We played Brut & Satén, apparently you should avoid the rosé at all costs.
The layout is really great and we recommend everyone traveling towards Lake Garda to play this course on the way there or back. The green fee here cost us just 63 euros on weekdays. Grace.

Pete Dye has left a great place here that comes up with many of his design ideas.

During my holiday on Lake Garda, I played Franciacorta on one of the hottest summer days of the year with almost total calm in a single round. Perhaps it was because of my exhaustion and my mediocre golf game that my impression was not entirely positive...
The first impression was great: Covered, shady parking spaces and a very spacious clubhouse. The course itself was nice to play, but I wasn't really impressed with the layout. Overall well maintained, but some fairways were badly worn. It couldn't have been the summer heat alone, because the courses around Lake Garda that were played in the same week were much better in shape. But what especially took away the joy of playing, there were millions of mosquitoes that attacked me all over the place, despite liters of insect spray. But the golf course cannot do anything about that.
Overall, I found the Front Nine (Brut) better to play than the second half (Saten). On the back nine I went up and down too much with a few blind blows. The signature hole for me was 11 (or: 2 by Saten). An island green with an almost island tee. Very nice.
The green fee of 60 euros on weekdays is certainly cheap for this place.
The clubhouse is impressive. Heavy fireplace furniture, open fireplace, billiard room, tables for card players, on the walls many winner tables from various championships.
