Characteristics

This course designed by Mr. José Gancedo is placed in Picassent town, just 15 minutes far from the center of Valencia. It’s defined by 14 lakes, Mediterranean vegetation, 1500 palms, 100 olives and a lot of vegetation which surround the player along the course. We can distinguish two 9 hole rounds in the course. According to its designer, Mr. José Gancedo, “Foressos Golf Club is a 18-hole course raised in two different rounds, 18 different ways of playing in which both amateur and professional golfer must work very hard to enjoy”.We should point out the largest green in Europe, 70 meters, in the hole 7th par 3 of 146 meters from white barrels. At the same time, we’ll enjoy the triple green made out from the holes number 2, 14 and 16 or the two holes which share the green in links purest style, which are the 1st, the 17th and on the other hand the 3rd and the 11th.

Light and Shadow

Golf Course: An easy to play short course. The first 9 are rather boring, the second then a lot nicer - almost looks like the space has been expanded to include the inner core.

Course condition: Greens are slow but good. The rest of 1-9 weak, 10-18 the complete opposite.

Conclusion: There are better places in the area. Because of the second nine fairways, there are still 3 stars.

A place of surprise

Friendly staff, with 30 € very cheap greenfee, daily menu for cheap 12 €. All the pleasurable points that earn 4 stars.
Now for the place:
The first nine in a very bad condition. You have to play better, so you do not play from the bare ground. In the bunkers no sand, only earth and stones. Maximum of 2 stars.

The second nine the exact opposite. Wonderful fairways, almost like a carpet. Absolutely 4 stars.
CONCLUSION: Actually a 3.5. Since it does not exist I (perhaps from pity?) I to 4 stars.

Well

Friendly service at reception, green fee on a Thursday for € 35 incl lunch after the round would have to wonder. The greens were all very good. In stark contrast, the fairways. Especially those of the first nine holes: field! The second nine holes looked more like golf. All in all, very unkempt, the worst place I've ever played on the Iberian Peninsula!
