Originally constituted in 1892 with roots traced back to Old Tom Morris, Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Club offers a stunning heathland experience in Highland Perthshire. The current course, opened in 1922, winds along a hillside overlooking the historic town and the Loch of the Lowes. While relatively short at 5,471 yards, the undulating terrain demands smart course management rather than brute power. Golfers face blind shots, such as the challenging 'Gully' hole, amidst a rich wildlife habitat often graced by ospreys and red kites. A welcoming clubhouse completes the visit.
