Characteristics

Founded in 1904, Dundalk Golf Club nestles in the south corner of Dundalk Bay with scenic views across the Bay to the Cooley Mountains and the mountains of Mourne in the background. It has a fantastic history and is very proud to say that was a memorable host of the All Ireland Club finals in September 1997. Peter Allis, the 'Voice of Golf', and Dave Thomas, one of the most popular and respected golf course designers in the business, upgraded the course in 1980. It is a long course with undulating fairways, some which are tight enough to make you leave the driver in the bag. Here, accuracy, not length, will go a long way to putting together a decent score.

Beautiful Place

Good, secluded old place with lots of trees. Rather easy to play.
