Not far from Ljubljana city centre and airport lies the 18-hole golf course with its large and well kempt greens and tees, two small lakes and broad and widely open playing fields, which are promising an enjoyable game for everyone, beginners included.
The golf course offers everything a golfer may expect:
- A nicely arranged and well maintained course with 18 holes and an emphasis on large and well kempt greens and tees.
- The D Diners CUBO Golf Course consists of six par three holes, six par four holes and six par five holes. Every hole has four teeing areas: a white one, a yellow one, a red one and an orange (children’s) one. Two small lakes are located within the boundaries of the course, which is surrounded by forest edges. The playing fields, however, are broad and widely open, promising an enjoyable game for everyone, beginners included. One particular characteristic of the course as a whole are three large, dynamic and fast lawns.
- The course also offers a brilliantly equipped golf academy (individual lessons, group practice, youth courses, video analysis of the swing, golf club calibration), where every golfer may find something of interest.
- On top of all that has been mentioned so far, we ensure an amiable and professional treatment of our guests and a pleasant ambient on and around the course, where they will be spoiled by superior catering and offered the ability to shop in a well supplied golfing products store.
- The course is equipped with a most modern computer coordinated sprinkler system of the TORO brand, such as the kinds used on the majority of the best golf courses in the USA. The maintenance technology is of the TORO brand as well. There is also a TORO service center present on the course grounds.

For a public course, it's nice, properly maintained. Maybe lacking some challenges on the course, but for a pleasant game it's fine. Near the capital city, so it's quite crowded at any time of the day, which sometimes doesn't leave enough time for a pleasant game. The coffee bar terrace is pleasant.

First, the positives: the course boasts a beautiful clubhouse and impeccable catering. We received a very friendly welcome at the reception and were treated to a special rate. The €63 green fee, including a meal after the round, is fantastic. According to the club website, the standard green fee for non-Slovene players is €105, which would be simply too expensive for this course. The relatively large greens are also very positive; they hold their course and are not too fast.
I didn't particularly like the first nine holes. The fairways were extremely wet, the bunkers were full of water, and the tee boxes were okay. Isn't there any mowing on Sunday?
Fairways unfortunately have a lot of weeds (meadow-like), rough is relatively high, according to one member it is even higher in summer (??).
I liked the layout of the back nine better; the fairways were drier and the bunkers were better.
Course maintenance is poor, but perhaps it is better in summer.
It's quite a long way from the 18th green to the clubhouse.
I hope that next time we visit, there won't be any more copied scorecards on cheap pieces of paper, so that the club doesn't just advertise its clubhouse!
