Founded in 1905 on Scotland's scenic Solway Coast, Colvend Golf Club offers a testing 18-hole parkland course near Dalbeattie. The layout, originally by Willie Fernie and later extended, is defined by rolling hills, tree-lined fairways, and challenging water features. Players enjoy spectacular views across the estuary towards the Cumbrian Fells and the Isle of Man. Notable holes include the 8th, widely considered one of the area's best Par 3s. The welcoming clubhouse completes the experience with a bar and restaurant service.

Parkland course overlooking the sea

Unfortunately we only had time for a nightly 9 holes - round. Very neat place with a variety of tracks, some overlooking the sea. Because of the lateness of the hour and the windy weather only 12 euros per player were charged us twice would have been well justified.
