Characteristics

The first 6 lanes are actually an unacceptable disaster. on the one hand not very demanding and boring, but even worse, they are so intertwined that you constantly endanger other players even with a slight miss. there are even t-boxes in the landing area for balls from the parallel fairways.
This condition is not only disturbing, but downright dangerous. lanes 1-6 maximum 2 stars.
From hole 7, real golfing pleasure begins.
Then it gets hilly, exciting and really challenging, also because of the steep inclines. great undulating greens, good bunker sand...
And the topography demands everything from the golfer.
Together with the very good 19th hole smooth 5 stars.
if I play the course again, I would simply omit the first 6 holes. you don't have to do everything.

... as others rightly point out, you should be able to play golf - as on any other course - because it has it all. As a flatland golfer you are challenged here, it is a sporting task.
We are here for the second time in transit. The first visit took place in a small "container village".
Holes 1-8 are fun because you can let the driver run - they are on an almost flat plateau. Hole 9,10 and 11 spoil them, yes they are easily enough to ruin the score. The four DownHill Par 3 are great fun, but you shouldn't be too long, otherwise you risk a lot of work or even lost balls.
The hanging fairways allow a perfectly played ball to roll from the tee to the lower edge of the semi and create an awkward position for a difficult second or third shot into the green. If you reach the green in regulation, heavily undulating greens wait for the putts.
Such terrain, such fairways with partly decent crossovers and such undulating greens do not fit together, so our opinion - this has been exaggerated. The greens at the beginning of the round have huge dimensions, the more holes you have seen, the more they decrease.
Course well maintained.
It played for a long time today, the wind was part of the game, the fairways and the greens were uneven and soft, had not been mowed for days, the thunderstorms were certainly partly responsible. We could only register a little roll, where we would have liked to have done without - on the hanging fairways - we had some. So the putter wasn't the right weapon on the greens - it would have been the hammer - the balls didn't roll at all. To stick with Greenspeed, the greens would have been extremely difficult with normal - hardly to play. Three or even four putts should be noted in rows.
Smaller, modern, beautiful clubhouse with decent catering and very nice staff, as well as a great panorama.
Pure mountain world, a great view of the Versam Rhine Gorge at two vantage points.
