Designed by the legendary architect Harry Colt in 1924, Brancepeth Castle Golf Club is widely considered one of the finest courses in the North East. Located in the former Deer Park of Brancepeth Castle, this 18-hole parkland course is defined by a deep ravine that cuts through the layout, demanding precise tee shots on several holes. The clubhouse, uniquely housed in the castle's converted stables and coach house, offers a historic atmosphere. Extensive practice facilities and a driving range complete the offer near Durham.
